How Manual Therapy is done?

Manual Therapy is a manipulative treatment used by physiotherapists and manual therapists. It mostly includes mobilisations and manipulations of joints and muscles. Mobilisation is the passive movement or a sustained stretch within a physiological range of movement. Manipulation is sudden small amplitude movement at a joint. Manual Therapy can help joint's lubrication through the "synovial sweep" mechanism and can facilitate muscle's relaxation.
