  •  What is Biomechanical Assessment?

A Biomechanical assessment involves an examination of the lower limbs, looking at their structure, alignment, strengths and weaknesses.

It is important to examine the lower limbs as a whole because they are closely connected and pain in one area can be due to a weakness or structural problem in another area.

  • How is Biomechanical Assessment done?

Physio Pattern Manchester can provide:

  • a full gait analysis service

  • a thorough manual muscle testing service

  • and a functional movement screen (FMS) test

  • Benefits of Biomechanical treatment:

Physio Pattern Manchester is looking at the relationship between pain that you might be experiencing and how the body moves in space.

After a thorough posture analysis and gait analysis a master level therapist will create an environment where you can get more movement, more newness - newness that restores your old forgotten patterns, the loss of which have led to today's inhibition.

Ultimately Physio Pattern Manchester is always trying to align the body and bring it back to a neutral position ,

when this is achieved , and the body is balanced , pain , stiffness or discomfort starts to fade away.
